In the wake of Stephen Sondheim’s criticism of the Broadway-bound Porgy and Bess, the American Repertory Theatre in Boston has released a video feature in which the stars and creators express their feelings about the operatic musical classic. Norm Lewis and Audra McDonald talk about their respect for the show, with four-time Tony winner McDonald noting that she finally feels she’s the right age to play Bess.
